MASSAGE/BODYWORK THERAPY POLICIES

CANCELLATIONS
24-Hour advanced notice is required when canceling an appointment.  This allows the opportunity for someone else to retain my services. When you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, that time is forever lost to both, you and the therapist who was scheduled to work with you.

I accept cancellations by phone only.  DO NOT send me an email to cancel an appointment. Cancellations must be made by telephone.  Please call (800) 283-3845 to cancel. Please be advised that a fee of 50% of the amount of the scheduled appointment will be assessed for no-shows and last minute cancellations.

PUNCTUALITY
Being on time for your appointment is appreciated.  Late arrivals will result in a shortened appointment in order to prevent delays for other clients.  Clients who are more than 15 minutes late will be considered a cancellation and will be charged for the appointment.

NO-SHOWS
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a "no-show".  They will be charged for their "missed" appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.

ARRIVING LATE
If you are not present for your scheduled session during the first 15 minutes (unless you have telephoned me that you might be late), it will be construed by me that you are a "no-show".  Depending upon how late you arrive, I will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment and regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the "full" session.

CONTRAINDICATIONS (Situations where massage is not indicated)
Under certain medical conditions, massage/bodywork may not be advised, for example when a fever is present, indicating an infection. If a massage could be potentially harmful to a client's condition, the massage therapist has the right to decline to do the massage.

DRAPING PROTOCOL
Draping (towel, sheet or clothing) is used with each and every massage unless the client is in clothing/outer wear. Even if the client is wearing their undergarments, a towel or sheet will be used in addition.  Please respect the professional boundaries that exist between therapist and client. Any requests for inappropriate services will cause immediate termination of the session.

HYGIENE
For health reason, please arrive freshly showered after exercising.  Thank you.
